Here is Lynne’s own words:
A Wire Runs Through it
Many years ago I embarked on a seven-year sojurn through Africa and Yemen, then overland to Persia, Afghanistan, India and Nepal. During this expedition I became fascinated by the way tribal Jewelry moved and danced along the body. I soon began creating my own interpretations using ancient jewelry techniques learned over endless cups of tea with master artisans in the Souks and Bazaars of these regions. My creations gleamed from the strong creative forces which surrounded me. I feel fortunate to have travelled the world at the time when borders were more porous and the people more welcoming to strangers. Over the years, I have lived in or visited over thirty five countries and have kept the detailed journals, chronicling the adventures and inspirations which still influence the style of my work to this day. Having spent today with Lynne I felt revived and uplifted with an energy only she seems to generate through her well spring of energy and creativity. Ask Lynne about her beautiful mother 93 years young and you will know where Lynn gets her gift of beauty.
Per Lynne’s quote of Marcel Proust: The real voyage of discovery lies not in finding new lands, but in seeing them with new eyes.
