Orange Co. Symphony Family Music Program

I was in Elementary school when our school took a field trip to hear the San Diego Symphony playing classical music and I was swept away by all of the insturments and the wonderful sounds. It was an amazing experience I shall never forget. For those of you in Orange County you can expose your grand children and families to the wonderful experience of music. Per their web site below is the info for further information.

You may also want to volunteer for their program and help with the many educational experiences they provide children and adults.

This series of five Saturday morning programs (10 total performances) introduces young audiences, ages 5-11, and their families to the Symphony. These interactive concerts, led by Assistant Conductor Maxim Eshkenazy, are designed to be both educational and entertaining, present a broad range of musical styles, and teach the fundamentals of orchestral music.
All those attending can enhance their experience by attending the Musical Carnival or engaging in the OrKIDStra Club publication.

Family Musical Mornings concerts take place at 10 am and 11:30 am at the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa.
The Musical Playground takes place at 9 am (for families that attend the 10 am concert) and 12:15 pm (for families that attend the 11:30 am concert).

Fun and fascinating 45-minute concerts designed especially for kids 5-11. Enjoy family fun time together while enhancing your child’s (or grandchild’s) love of music. Plus, interactive fun at the Musical Playground, 9 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
