San Dieguito Heritage Museum

The San Dieguito Heritage Museum located in Encinitas at 450 Quail Gardens Drive ( or call 760-632-9711  for directions) have extended their hours to Thursday through Sunday noon to 4pm. To Learn more about this wonderful museum go to http://www.sdheritage.org/.

You can take a group on a tour which can be held during hours or after hours by making special arrangements and the minimum for your tour is 10 people and 40 is the maximum at $3. per person for Seniors and $4, per person. You will learn about the early Native Americans to gangsters to Surfing and lots of history about the town and it’s inhabitants from long ago to now.

School’s can sign up for the traveling trunk show for a $5. per day use fee which contains toys of the various inhabitants of the San Dieguito area by calling 760-632-9711.
