Saturday-Sunday April 28-29th Encinitas St. Fair

This coming Saturday April 28th and April 29th from 9am to 5pm on South Coast Hwy 101 between D and J streets is the 29th Encinitas Street Fair. So bring your sunscreen, tums (for all that yummy greasy food), the kids and your dog and head on down this weekend. There will be live bands and lots of crarts and artwork. Suggested parking at Moonlight Beach parking lot and walk over or take the train to the Encinitas station. For more info go to


SeaWorld San Diego's First Pole to Pole Fun Run April 28th, 2012


SeaWorld’s first ever 5K Pole to Pole run April 28, this Saturday at 7am at SeaWorld San Diego, 500 Sea World Drive. This is the first 5K run to take place inside the San Diego Sea World park and you can find out more information and sign ups at .  Advance tickets to participate in the run are $25. so don’t wait and sign up today! This event is benefiting the non-profit Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute. Register now to participate in an exciting 5K to sprint or stroll by sea lions and dolphins, birds and Shamu! Runners, walkers, and of course animals, will cheer you on as you support conservation efforts around the world.

Participants will meet costume characters and animal ambassadors, and learn about conservation efforts from Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund and SeaWorld experts..  Everyone that registers will get our inaugural Pole to Pole Fun Run t-shirt and discounted race-day admission (up to 6 people) to enjoy a day at SeaWorld. Wings of Freedom Tour Friday, April 27 2pm

Tomorrow in Carlsbad which will start at Palomar Airport at approx. 2pm  (planes will land) and continues to 5pm ,Friday, April 27th see WWII aircraft like the P-51 Mustang land at Palomar Airport off of I-5 and Palomar Airport East at 2210 Palomar Airport Road.  The tours are also available Sat-Sun, April 28-29th from 9am to 5pm. Also on Monday, the tour will be available from 9am to noon,  April 30th.

This tour contains a Consolidated B-24 Liberator “Witchcraft” WWII Heavy Bomber and multiple other great aircraft. Visitors can not only see inside and out all the WWII planes but for $425. per person you can fly on the B-17 or B24 per person.
