LUX Art Institute Encinitas-Bring family June 16th-FREE all Day

The LUX Art Institute is having an ALL Day Free Family Event this Saturday, June 16th from 11am to 3pm. The Institute is located at 1550 S. El Camino Real, CA 92024 or call 760-436-6611 or visit their web site at www.luxartinstitute.org . Saturday’s events include a tour with artist-in-residence Alex Kanevsky’s exhibit, live music, refreshments and a hands-on art project for the kids.

This Saturday, June 16th, attend  Switchfoot’s 8th Annual Rob Machado Bro Jr. Moonlight Beach Free hosted by Hurley. This event is being held at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas at the west end of Encinitas Blvd.  from 7am to 3:30pm for the Surf Contest and music featuring some great bands and for more information go to http://www.switchfoot.com/c/bro-am. This event is a charity event which started with a fundraiser dinner on Thursday, yesterday and all the proceeds go to Stand Up for Kids that are homeless.

This a a huge cause and very worth whatever you can donate. Plus Grand dads can celebrate a day early and hang with the grand kids at the beach and check out the amazing surfers that are known as “left foot” surfers!!
