Carlsbad's Wild Wild West Saturday, May 19,2012

 

Come celebrate the Wild Wild West this, Saturday, May 19, 2012 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park 6200 Flying L.C. Lane Download event flyer.

Parking available at Carrillo Elementary with entry into Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park through the school field.

This year, Wild West Fest celebrates the Native American culture with demonstrations, crafts, activities, and entertainment.  There will be pony rides, a salsa tasting contest, and an Adventure Activity card taking you through Native American themed activities and projects. Bring the entire family out for an exciting afternoon at Leo Carrillo Ranch.  Activity cards are required for some activities and can be purchased at the event.

Food, beverages, and merchandise will be available for an additional cost.

May 20th, Sunday-Escondido Street Fair from 10am to 5:30pm

 

This Sunday, May 20th from 10am to 5:30pm attend the Escondido Street Faire which happens to be the States Second largest Street Faire in California held annually the third Sunday in May with over 500 vendors and a crowd of approximately 60 thousand expected. Get your Carmel Corn, Dogs on a stick and tap your feet to music and enjoy all the arts and crafts.

May 19th, Saturday at Oceanside Pier Operation Appreciation

This Saturday, May 19th in Oceanside Pier Amphitheater, 300 North The Strand will be Operation Appreciation to honor our military and their families from 11am to 4pm. Come see the amphibious hover craft land on the beach and enjoy all the food/rides which is free for the military and for sale to non military. Saturday, May 19th at San Diego Botanical Gardens Encinitas: Barbecue

The San Dieguito Heritage Museum is hosting it’s 24th annual BBQ from noon to 4pm  this Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at the San Diego Botanical Gardens (formerly Quail’s Garden) in Encinitas. The event has not only some great messy food (don’t wear your best shirt) but also tons of fun events for the kids. The food will be served up to 2:30pm so be sure to get there in time to eat. The location of the Gardens is at 450 Quail Gardens Drive. Tickets are $30 at the door or $25. in advance and $20. for ages 13-17, $10 for ages 5-12.
