Cameron Christmas Home 2010

Thank you to all of you who have supported our family in our effort to bring home my son and for wishes that he be found before this year’s Christmas.
My daughter wrote a great article to help others and family members understand about Bipolar Signs and you can read that at http://breezymama.com/ .

I know there are many family members that have someone they love lost and not heard from for a long time. My son has been missing now for two months. This has taken a huge toll on our family, his brothers, sister and their immediate family and also on the many friends that know Cameron.

Cameron if you read this know that I love you unconditionally and that I know how intelligent and kind and loving you are and I just want to hold you and tell you that in person. I want to know that you aren’t sleeping in an alley under cardboard and that you aren’t scrounging for food in garbage cans. I want to know that you have shelter and good food and clothing for warmth. I want you to know how much you are loved and missed.

We took a family photo (a parting gift from my last job) and that none of my children would take a full family photo with you missing. I wore your bracelet you made me so it would be in all the individual photos. The day was overcast and the sun came out just in time for the photo shoot. The kids put their toes in the surf. The sun was warm. The wind gentle.

The children smiles were endless and they played and did their part to get the photo shoot done. But the heaviness was in all of our hearts as adults knowing and not knowing how you are and if you are even still walking on this earth.

I have been so proud of all the situations you endured and still stood strong and loving. The letter from the Fund Raiser you worked on the last Friday before you went missing is here waiting for you to read. You pulled that whole project together to raise money for a child that needs special care. You selfishly donated so much of your own money and time to pull that off and it was a success because of you.

I believe in Santa Claus. I believe in miracles and Cameron I believe in you. I know you can stand strong and can remember all of us and can come back to us. We wait for you. We long for you. We miss you terribly.

I also know there is a lot of evil in this world and people that cause harm to others. I am hoping you are not being harmed or have been harmed.

Please come home. Your Christmas present is wrapped and ready for you (something you asked me to make for you). There will be a place at the table and always in our hearts.

Most of all Cam, know that the kids that you took to gymnastics, ballet and the beach all nine of them need their Uncle.

I need you my son. I love you.
